This policy explains what information DrawDFD (“we”, “us”) handles when you visit drawdfd.com or use the DrawDFD editor, and the choices you have.

- Diagrams you draw are stored only in your browser. We never receive them.
- You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name or email to use the editor.

Diagrams and preferences stored on your device
The editor runs in your browser. It keeps your current diagram, panel layout, remembered font sizes and similar preferences in your browser's local storage so your work survives a page reload. This information stays on your device and isn't sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing site data for drawdfd.com in your browser settings. Files you save or export (JSON, PNG, SVG) are created in your browser and downloaded directly to your device.
Server logs
Our web host may automatically log technical information for each request, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested, referring page and time. We use this only for security, fixing problems and understanding overall traffic, and keep it only as long as necessary.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to display ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Contact form
When you use our contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and message. We use them only to answer you and improve DrawDFD. We don't sell them or use them for marketing, and we delete old messages when they're no longer needed.
Sharing
We don't sell personal information. Service providers that help run the site (such as our host and Google for ads) may process information on our behalf, and we may disclose information if the law requires it.
Children
DrawDFD is a general educational tool and doesn't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
You can clear locally stored data at any time, manage ad personalisation as described above, and ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you've sent us. Depending on where you live, including under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the GDPR or US state laws, you may have additional rights, and we'll honour them.
Changes
If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here and change the date at the top.
